About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer II to join our team at Mesa Labs. As a key member of our Agena Bioscience business, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, overseeing installation, calibration, repair, training, and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain complex scientific equipment, including mass spectrometers and liquid handlers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and research and development.
  • Analyze data and interpret results from customer support projects, presenting findings to internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental protocols, including service call scheduling, parts ordering, and expense reporting.
  • Maintain ISO compliance through tasks such as completing field change orders and instrument configuration documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, electronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in field service, customer support, or technical support, with a focus on complex scientific equipment.
  • Previous experience with mass spectrometry and life science industry is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of IT and networking concepts, including Oracle Database.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer

Mesa Labs offers a comprehensive benefits package, including base salary, bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401k/Match. The salary range for this position is $95,000-$105,000.
