Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer II to join our team at Applied Materials. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems, including hardware and software issues.
  • Assist senior engineers as needed, providing support and guidance to ensure successful project completion.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing timely updates and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or electronics.
  • 4 years of experience in a related field, including maintenance and repair of complex equipment.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of hardware and software systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, with occasional relocation.
