Job Overview
Spectrum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Market Development Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a geographically assigned sales team that sells to residential customers offering best-in-class services. Your primary goal will be to support the objectives of soliciting new prospective customers while consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will actively participate in simplifying and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by developing and implementing effective strategies.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced environment using strong project management skills.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train Residential Market Development staff.
  • Create clear expectations and hold employees accountable when expectations are not met.
  • Develop Residential Market Development Specialists in their roles, addressing knowledge gaps and training needs.
  • Maintain expertise in leading, guiding, and developing Residential Market Development Specialists.
  • Analyze reporting and analytics to drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments and support teams to achieve objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong technical and computer skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively using a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Familiarity with consumer education of products and services.
  • Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
