We are seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert to provide daily engineering and technical support services for the Coast Guard's NAIS system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C4I system engineering and experience with NAIS.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a subject matter expert on NAIS, NAIS hardware, NAIS software, and AIS related standards.
- Provide daily engineering and technical support services to maintain NAIS system performance.
- Research design changes, develop ways to monitor the system, and identify unique and complex problems with the system.
- Recommend system upgrades, additions, or removals, subject to USCG approval.
- Respond to NAIS system casualties within two business days of notification.
- Develop and maintain FATDMA schedules for each NAIS Base Station.
- Develop and maintain link loss budgets for NAIS.
- Advise other Government entities on NAIS capabilities, subject to COR approval.
- Support development of all technical documentation required by C5ISC SELC processes.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in the field of Engineering.
- Public Trust.
- Ten (10) years of experience in C4I System Engineering.
- Two (2) years' experience with NAIS required.
- Security+ certification required within 6 months of employment.
