Offshore Wind Energy Project Manager

AECOM is seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Energy Project Manager to join our Northeast Environmental Planning & Permitting Practice.

This role will involve working with a team of multidisciplinary scientists, permitting specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver complex offshore wind energy projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental planning, permitting, and project management, with experience in preparing BOEM Site Assessment Plans (SAP) and Construction and Operations Plans (COP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare SAP and COP documents for offshore wind energy projects
  • Work with state and federal regulations in the northeast/mid-Atlantic Region
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver project milestones and objectives

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Biology, Marine Biology, Environmental Science/Planning, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in the offshore wind energy industry
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS degree in Biology, Marine Biology, Environmental Science/Planning
  • Strong familiarity with BOEM Regulations and experience authoring Chapters and Appendices in COPs
  • Background in Visual Impact Assessments (VIA), Benthic, Fisheries, and/or other marine environment subject matter expertise
