This role will be pivotal in leading and managing our information security initiatives. The individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security policies and strategies that safeguard our organization’s data and technology assets. A successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership capabilities, a proven track record in cybersecurity, and a commitment to fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establishes and maintains a strategic cybersecurity framework that aligns with organizational goals and mitigates risks effectively.
  2. Develops and communicates security objectives and performance metrics to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  3. Builds and nurtures a talented security team, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement in security practices.
  4. Collaborates with technical teams to ensure security is integrated into product development and operational processes.
  5. Conducts thorough assessments of security technologies and oversees their implementation to enhance overall security posture.
  6. Engages with global security teams to share best practices and ensure compliance with security standards across the organization.
  7. Provides mentorship and guidance to security personnel within the organization.
  8. Leads responses to security incidents, conducts vulnerability assessments, and manages data protection initiatives.
  9. Coordinates disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure organizational resilience.
  10. Develops incident response strategies to address information security threats promptly.
  11. Fosters a culture of compliance by staying informed on relevant regulations and ensuring adherence across the organization.
  12. Works closely with various departments to enhance awareness of security risks and promote best practices in risk management.
  13. Oversees the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields
3+ years of experience in leadership roles within information security
2+ years of experience in governance, risk management, and compliance
Proven experience in managing cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
In-depth knowledge of cloud security, data privacy regulations, and risk management practices
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and projects effectively.
