Position Overview:

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is in search of a Chief Information Security Officer to enhance our team. This pivotal role will be tasked with establishing and executing our information technology security framework to safeguard our organization's data assets. The position requires close collaboration with the Chief Information Officer to oversee security systems and ensure our security measures are both comprehensive and forward-thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the information technology security team in both daily operations and long-term strategic planning.
  • Formulate and execute a holistic security program that addresses identified vulnerabilities and aligns with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and interpret the current and emerging threat landscape, providing management with actionable risk evaluations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date repository of security advisories, trends, practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Supervise threat and vulnerability management efforts, proposing and communicating risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee security-related projects, providing expert consultation on security considerations for other IT initiatives.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning by advising on recovery methodologies and ensuring effective development, testing, and maintenance of recovery plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent professional experience (Master's degree in Information Security preferred).
  • Certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in information technology, with at least 5 years in a security-focused role and 2 years in a leadership position.
  • In-depth knowledge of standard information security management frameworks and familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, control assessments, and vulnerability evaluations, along with defining treatment strategies.
  • Experience in crafting and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical, and project-oriented frameworks.
  • Understanding of cryptographic principles and practices.
  • Experience with application security testing methodologies and system security assessments.
