This role is ideal for individuals who excel in collaborative environments, possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills, and have a strong desire for continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage intricate Request for Proposals (RFPs) for evaluation by senior team members, ensuring all edits are made and proposals are disseminated to relevant insurance markets.
2. Facilitate timely responses from insurance carriers, engage in negotiations with vendors as necessary, and summarize proposals for senior review.
3. Prepare and present tailored client communications and presentations that resonate with each client's unique employee demographic.
4. Monitor and report on financials and budgeting status monthly, providing clients with relevant insights.
5. Coordinate health and welfare plan renewals, compiling and summarizing necessary documentation for senior review.
6. Implement new health and welfare benefit plans effectively.
7. Identify opportunities to expand accounts, presenting information to clients with or without senior consultant support.
8. Participate in client meetings as needed to foster strong relationships.
9. Assist clients in adhering to compliance regulations related to employee benefits, including HIPAA, ERISA, and PPACA.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in life/health, employee benefits, or related fields is essential.
- A high school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred. Professional designations such as CEBS or CLU are advantageous. Human Resource certifications like PHR or SPHR are also beneficial.
- An active state Life & Health insurance license is required or must be obtained within three months of employment.
