Position Overview:

The Infection Control Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering healthcare services and ensuring patient safety in various medical environments. This position is contingent upon contract award and involves deployment to a designated location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive medical services within the scope of a Registered Nurse to maintain the health of employees and client personnel.
  • Conduct systematic assessments of urgent or emergent health needs, analyze data, and collaborate with the medical team to formulate realistic care plans.
  • Implement treatment strategies for life-threatening medical conditions and utilize various medical devices, including catheters and feeding tubes.
  • Operate life support systems and recognize and treat illnesses and injuries according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with standard protocols and privacy regulations.
  • Demonstrate initiative, judgment, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Engage in professional development and continuing education to stay current with healthcare practices.
  • Ensure confidentiality and infection control procedures are upheld while administering medications and managing medical supplies.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months within the past year.
  • Associate degree from an accredited nursing program is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Active and unrestricted Nursing License with the ability to be favorably credentialed.
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License and a U.S. Passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining.
  • Successful completion of a security background check and drug screening.
  • Willingness to sign an International Assignment Agreement and adhere to its terms.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and participation in safety training and meetings.
