Donatech Corporation is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our Aero-Defense team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for assembling and coordinating technical final reporting documents, working closely with engineers, project managers, and subject-matter-experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, gather, and develop relevant content for project documentation by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Generate project documentation using MS Word and Adobe Acrobat, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Report and track progress to project management, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Manage schedules and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Identify and pursue expanding project deliverables, ensuring scope management.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat.
- Excellent communication and note-taking skills for gathering and translating technical information.
- Familiarity with English grammar and syntax, with the ability to simplify and clarify technical information.
- Schedule management and scope management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Visio and MS Project.
- Experience working with technical and project teams.
- Experience writing technical documents, such as procedures, instructions, or guides.
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards, regulations, and software.
Education
Associates Degree required.
