Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Agent who possesses a genuine love for the hospitality sector and an entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of our operational policies and procedures.

This role requires flexibility and a willingness to assist colleagues in various capacities as operational demands fluctuate. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to contribute positively to the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Welcome every guest warmly and maintain engaging eye contact.
  2. Foster effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across different departments.
  3. Manage all guest interactions, both in-person and via phone, with utmost professionalism and hospitality, addressing special requests and resolving complaints as needed.
  4. Facilitate guest check-ins, ensuring room assignments meet guest preferences and correct rates are applied.
  5. Coordinate luggage delivery to guest rooms as required.
  6. Issue accurate room keys to guests.
  7. Conduct guest check-outs, ensuring satisfaction, collecting keys, processing late charges, and presenting bills.
  8. Accurately settle guest accounts.
  9. Maintain a balanced cash drawer and manage currency exchanges as necessary.
  10. Reconcile all transactions at the end of each shift.
  11. Create a welcoming and helpful atmosphere that exemplifies our commitment to exceptional hospitality.
  12. Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations in the absence of the Reservations Department.
  13. Address guest inquiries promptly and courteously, connecting them with the appropriate departments when necessary.
  14. Understand all facets of the Front Office within our Property Management System.
  15. Be knowledgeable about hotel services, facilities, operating hours, and amenities.
  16. Be familiar with fire and safety protocols, providing assistance during emergencies.
  17. Participate in departmental meetings and any other relevant gatherings as requested.

Qualifications
