  • Develop and Implement IT Procedures: Develop and implement procedures around Fractyl's IT assets, including systems access, computers, telecommunications, software, and security.
  • Oversee IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure, platforms, and services.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and strategic partners, ensuring effective collaboration and leveraging their expertise for successful implementation and support.
  • Asset Protection: Execute asset protection through encryption and traffic management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate software solutions specific to regulations for both medical devices and biologics.
  • Strategic Support: Offer strategic support to Fractyl's stakeholders, develop solution plans, and drive implementation.
  • IT Help Desk Management: Manage the IT Help Desk to ensure timely response to employee tickets.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Perform all activities in compliance with applicable regulations, Fractyl's policies and guidelines, including timely documentation of activities and maintaining all required applicable training.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12+ years of experience in IT management.
  • Industry Experience: Applicable experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, and/or medical device industries preferred.
Qualifications and Skills
  • IT Management: Proficiency with modern digital tools related to IT management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of challenges and requirements of technology in the biotech industry, including data security, compliance, and scalability.
  • Data Security: Strong understanding of data security and associated regulations.
  • Project Management: Proven experience leading projects to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness across an organization.
  • Leadership Attributes: Project-management, decision-making, and leadership attributes are a must.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
