About the Role

We are seeking an IT Finance Business Partner intern to join our team at HF Sinclair Corporation. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our IT organization and cross-functional teams to support our finance functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with accounting, tax, and treasury business users to provide support and answer inquiries.
  • Research and document finance requirements to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with experienced team members to drive business outcomes.
  • Provide support in QA and production environments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work on change tickets and follow up on completion to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate program for computer science or a related discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting processes and functions.
  • Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and develop functional and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience with finance or ERP software or business finance experience.
