Gold's Gym of the Carolina's is expanding and seeking a dedicated Facilities Operations Manager. This role will put your expertise, skills, and leadership abilities to the test while offering recognition for your achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, oversee, mentor, and assess the performance of maintenance personnel.
- Foster a productive maintenance team through structured training and mentorship that aligns with the Company’s goals and objectives.
- Manage the procurement of all equipment parts, cleaning supplies, maintenance materials, and related items through the Company’s approved purchasing system.
- Stay informed and compliant with all OSHA regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Initiate and manage maintenance and safety protocols for various facility equipment.
- Oversee preventative maintenance for machinery, including HVAC systems.
- Maintain compliance and stay updated on changes from regulatory bodies like OSHA.
- Exhibit knowledge and readiness regarding all emergency procedures.
- Oversee all aspects of the facility, including the building, grounds, equipment, and inventory.
- Process and manage incoming deliveries.
- Plan and coordinate facility modifications, including cost assessments.
- Experience in pool maintenance and operation is preferred.
Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The physical demands include standing or sitting for extended periods, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, and balancing. Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required, as well as the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
