Key Responsibilities:

The primary function of this role is to supervise clients, ensuring their safety while fostering a trusting relationship. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the whereabouts and activities of assigned residents at all times, especially during one-on-one interactions.
  • Facilitating daily residential schedules and supporting residents in various activities, including chores, meal preparation, and group events.
  • Providing safe transportation for residents during community outings.
  • Adhering to all policies and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Staying current with all required training and certifications to uphold employment standards.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology is preferred. Previous experience in behavioral health settings with adolescents is advantageous. A valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles are necessary.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday. The individual must possess good vision and hearing and be mobile enough to navigate the facility, which may involve traversing uneven terrain. Constant vigilance for client safety is essential.
