Job Overview

JEO Consulting Group is seeking a talented Information Graphics Designer to join our team. As a key member of our Planning and Engagement department, you will play a crucial role in visualizing complex information and creating engaging graphics that enhance understanding and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and presenting information visually to support project teams.
  • Apply established client brand and style guides to ensure consistency and quality across project materials.
  • Support the creation of infographics, simple illustrations, and map-based graphics that transform content and data into compelling visual communications.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to produce high-quality multimedia content, including 2D animations, video editing, and social media graphics.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an associate's or bachelor's degree program in graphic design, information design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with design principles and desktop publishing.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and apply new design skills and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with video editing and motion graphics software, such as Premiere Pro and/or AfterEffects.
  • Interest or experience in website development or content management systems (CMS).
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS.
