Fire Protection Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Systems Designer to join our team at Continental Fire Sprinkler Company. As a Fire Protection Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and servicing fire protection systems for various clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and install fire protection systems for commercial and industrial clients
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with NFPA codes and building codes
- Conduct site visits to review actual field conditions and troubleshoot installation conflicts
- Prepare and submit plans, specifications, and estimates for fire protection systems
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in fire protection design and installation
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and building codes
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to travel to construction sites and other office locations as needed
