Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graphic Design and Web Development Intern to join our team at Unison. As a key member of our marketing and design team, you will be responsible for providing support to our cross-functional teams through various projects, including web, digital, and other creative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to diversify your portfolio and expand your experience in various marketing areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement copy edits and revisions to Unison websites
  • Format, upload, and add photography to Unison websites
  • Build page layouts and contact forms for Unison websites
  • Monitor and provide Analytics reports for Unison web properties
  • Cultivate research on web design trends, technologies, and strategies
  • Prepare images to coincide with social and blog posts
  • Assist with collateral creation and updates
  • Creation of various logos for products when needed
  • Interaction with cross-functional teams to share ideas, revisions, and finished designs
  • Creation and updates to various sales collateral
  • Creation and updates to email campaigns and mailing materials
  • All other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Majoring in digital media studies, art, computer science, communications, or marketing
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Webflow, Salesforce suite
  • Knowledge of web design, web development techniques, and technologies: Figma, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, and CSS3 (optional)
  • High functioning knowledge of Apple Hardware, Windows Hardware, and Google Workspace tools
  • Possess the understanding of File Sharing Platforms (FTP)
  • Keen awareness of web interface design and aesthetics
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Self-motivation with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Ability to generate, share, and follow through on creative ideas
  • Ability to collaborate with others as well as work independently
  • The ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks on-time
  • Be organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Have strong research skills, time management, and planning skills
  • Have the desire to learn fast, self-motivated, and organized
