Body Shop Manager Job Description

Fayetteville Dodge Ram, a Hudson Automotive company, is seeking a skilled Body Shop Manager to lead our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our body shop, ensuring high-quality repairs, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and motivate body shop staff to achieve exceptional results.
  • Develop and implement an annual operating budget for the body shop, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Create and execute a marketing plan to promote our services and attract new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters to ensure smooth claims processing.
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations affecting our operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA compliance.
  • Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of damage and estimate repair costs.
  • Monitor technicians' productivity and payroll records to optimize performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Body Shop Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and industry regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
