Job Description:
As a key member of the Philips Sleep & Respiratory Care team, you will be responsible for shaping the reliability framework.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to create a comprehensive reliability program plan that outlines essential tasks, methodologies, tools, testing, and analyses critical for the successful launch of new products.
- Support engineering teams in reducing warranty claims and enhancing customer satisfaction by spearheading quality initiatives focused on problem identification, root cause analysis, corrective action formulation, and verification of resolutions.
- Oversee and facilitate training sessions and workshops on quality and reliability engineering, robustness, and statistical methods as required within product engineering.
- Engage in product design and reliability assessments during the new product development phase to guarantee the durability of product designs and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in reliability testing and collaborating with product engineering to define reliability requirements, establish a reliability program, and conduct necessary analyses to ensure new products meet all specifications.
- Ability to work with project teams to formulate a reliability program plan that documents essential tasks, methodologies, tools, testing, and analyses vital for new product success.
- Experience in assisting engineering teams to achieve warranty reduction and improve customer satisfaction through quality initiatives focused on problem identification, root cause analysis, corrective action development, and resolution verification.
- Capability to manage and conduct training and workshops on quality and reliability engineering, robustness, and statistics as necessary within product engineering.
- Must be able to successfully perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
