LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Employee Benefits Specialist. In this position, you will play a crucial role in assisting employees with their benefits-related questions and ensuring the accurate enrollment and management of benefits programs. A solid understanding of technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other benefits offered by the company.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, providing clear and professional guidance.
  • Support employees with benefits enrollment, modifications, and terminations, ensuring timely and precise processing of all transactions.
  • Stay informed about federal, state, and local benefits regulations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefits records within the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and related databases.
  • Assist employees in filing benefits claims and resolving any issues related to coverage or payments.
  • Support the annual open enrollment process.
  • Generate reports and analyze benefits data to provide insights.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in benefits administration or a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, FMLA, COBRA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Experience in an office environment for 2-4 years.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Compensation: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour

Benefits: Our associates have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan. These offerings allow employees to select coverage that best meets their individual needs. Additionally, associates may qualify for paid leave, including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave mandated by federal, state, or local law, as well as holiday pay where applicable.
