Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of a licensed counselor, provide counseling services to clients, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individual treatment plans, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and effective care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss client progress and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, including session notes and progress updates.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for WestCare vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to pass first-level and NABS background clearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
