Nurse Manager

The Charge Nurse is responsible for the daily operation of the Behavioral Health unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and supervision of nursing staff. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing staff
- Assist with performance evaluations and progressive discipline
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth coordination of services
- Enhance patient flow and efficient admission/discharge/transfer processes
- Assess patient care delivery and quality of care/documentation
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Previous supervisory experience, preferred
- Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws, Practice Standards, and interdisciplinary treatment team process
