Microbiology Faculty

We are seeking a highly qualified Microbiology Faculty member to join our team at Adtalem Global Education. As a Microbiology Faculty, you will play a critical role in teaching and mentoring Nursing Students in a dynamic classroom/online hybrid setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Chamberlain College's Care philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives.
- Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for student growth and development.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to promote academic excellence.
- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in Microbiology to ensure curriculum relevance and effectiveness.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours earned directly in Microbiology.
- At least 15-credit hours of higher education teaching experience (preferred but not required).
- Exceptional subject matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for education and lifelong learning, with a commitment to student success and well-being.
- Strong work ethic, ability to learn from mistakes, and a desire to enrich colleagues, students, and the broader community.
- Ability to provide official transcripts for all earned degrees from a regionally accredited institution (or a US course-by-course equivalency evaluation for degrees earned and conferred outside of the US).
As a valued member of our team, you will be eligible for a competitive compensation package, including a rate of $850/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on your education and experience.
