NYIT's College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM), one of the largest single-campus medical schools in the United States, is seeking applications for the role of Assistant/Associate Professor in Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures to first and second-year medical students within a system-based curriculum.
- Facilitate collaborative learning sessions for students during their initial academic years.
- Provide mentorship to medical students throughout their educational journey.
- Participate in committees to support institutional and departmental objectives.
- Conduct research and guide students in their scholarly endeavors.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a PhD with a specialization in microbiology or immunology. Post-doctoral training and teaching experience are preferred.
