Key Information

  • Hourly Compensation: $21.95
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Part-Time Position: 20-30 hours per week
  • Temporary Role: 3-12 Month Assignment
  • Location: Downtown Mesa

Role Responsibilities

The Program Coordinator is a professional role tasked with a variety of assignments that involve public interaction and are responsible for administering, overseeing, and/or executing a program, process, or functional area specific to the assignment.

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Preparing performance evaluations, correspondence, office procedures, work orders, purchase orders, manuals, reports, surveys, flyers, packets, agendas, and minutes.
  • Engaging with management, the public, vendors, and contractors to address inquiries.
  • Clarifying and interpreting information pertinent to the program.
  • Exercising independent judgment in handling routine matters.
  • Supervising clerical staff.
  • Performing related tasks as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Considerable experience in a responsible clerical or paraprofessional role, including public interaction.
  • Preferred: Additional coursework or training in office management or a related field.
  • Highly desirable: Proficiency in personal computer (PC) software applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, data management).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid Class D Arizona Driver's License is required.
