Sales Development Representative

Ubiquity Retirement + Savings is seeking a skilled Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers who would benefit from our products and services.
The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of the sales process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present our offerings in a compelling and persuasive manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify and engage potential customers through outbound calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and other sources to identify sales-ready opportunities.
- Utilize analytics tools and intent data to assess lead quality, prioritize outreach, and tailor messaging to align with pain points and current interests.
- Set up meetings or calls between potential customers and retirement plan consultants.
- Maintain and update accurate records of all lead interactions and activities in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective lead generation strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive products.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and appointments.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team on the quality of leads and effectiveness of campaigns.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience (3-5 years) in sales and SDR experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn.
- Familiarity with CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, is a plus.
- Understanding of the sales process and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Effectively use tools like ZoomInfo, chat-based platforms, Chorus, and other sales enablement technologies to identify, engage, and track potential customers.
