Job Description

MetroPlusHealth is seeking a highly skilled EDI Administrator/Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of BizTalk environments, as well as the development and support of BizTalk applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BizTalk, including experience with BizTalk 2020, 2016, and 2013-R2 environments. They will also have experience with HIPAA EDI, ANSI X.12, and EDIFACT standards, as well as proficiency in C# and Visual Studio.

The EDI Administrator/Programmer will be responsible for testing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting HIPAA EDI transactions and applications, including 837, 835, 834, 270, 271, 276, 277, and 278 transactions. They will also be responsible for implementing Companion Guides and Trading Partner Agreements, as well as supporting day-to-day operations of EDI.

The successful candidate will have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a team of members on assigned projects. They will also be able to work independently and attend to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BizTalk administration and maintenance
  • Develop and support BizTalk applications
  • Responsible for testing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting HIPAA EDI transactions and applications
  • Implement Companion Guides and Trading Partner Agreements
  • Support day-to-day operations of EDI

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in BizTalk, including implementing and supporting BizTalk environments, building and deploying BizTalk solutions, and performing performance tuning and disaster recovery
  • Experience with HIPAA EDI, ANSI X.12, and EDIFACT standards
  • Proficiency in C# and Visual Studio
  • Experience with DevOps and GitHub
  • Experience with Azure Integration Services and Azure Functions
