Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package that aligns with our mission and values. The salary range for this role is $71,510 to $84,032, which may vary based on experience.

Role Summary: The Program Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of our programs and leading our dedicated staff. This role is crucial in fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for families, enabling them to achieve their aspirations while ensuring that resources are effectively utilized to fulfill the program's objectives.

Location: This position is based at a facility that provides long-term housing for families.

Qualifications:

Essential: A Bachelor's Degree; 3-5 years of experience in social services; experience working with low-income families; prior supervisory experience.

Required Certifications: CPR/First-Aid, CPR for infants.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with varying hours including one late day and occasional weekend work, totaling 40 hours per week.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and individualized service delivery.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities with a focus on evaluating options and implementing solutions.
  • Knowledge of mental health issues, trauma, substance abuse disorders, and homelessness.
  • Ability to establish clear performance goals and address challenges impacting outcomes.
  • Experience managing operational budgets.
  • Proficient in multitasking and managing time effectively while remaining adaptable.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless daily operations of programs and contribute to strategic planning aimed at enhancing program effectiveness.
  • Supervise and develop programming initiatives for adults, families, and youth.
  • Oversee case management services, employing a strength-based approach and integrating motivational enhancement strategies into family goal plans.
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements.
  • Act as the primary contact for Asset Management and Facilities Management.
  • Manage program finances, including procurement of necessary supplies and materials.
  • Assist in shaping the program's vision and evaluating its goals and outcomes.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels, including recruitment, evaluation, and training of new hires.
  • Contribute to budget planning and ensure adherence to financial reporting standards.
  • Support strategic development and enhance departmental performance and operations.
  • Schedule staff hours and monitor attendance; approve timecards and leave requests.
  • Provide coaching and training to staff, supporting their professional growth and understanding of policies and procedures.

Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Vice President of Family Services.

Safety Designation: This role is classified as Safety Sensitive, and candidates may be subject to drug testing as part of the employment process.

Physical Requirements: The role may require lifting up to 20 pounds and prolonged periods of sitting or computer use. Travel to offsite events and meetings may also be necessary.
