Job Overview

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $45,000 to $65,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

As an SLPA, you will work alongside a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for students ranging from grades K-12. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct and indirect services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborating with the SLP to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Working with students, teachers, and parents to ensure successful communication and understanding of student needs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications or an Associate's degree from a certified SLPA program
  • An active SLPA certification, if applicable
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to travel between buildings during the day
