Position Overview:
The Commercial Marketing Manager, Rate Plan and Capabilities plays a pivotal role in crafting innovative offers and value propositions aimed at enhancing postpaid account growth and profitability at T-Mobile. This position merges strategic insight with practical execution, focusing on customer needs and market trends to develop compelling rate plans and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic recommendations for device offers and lifecycle management to capture a larger share of postpaid wireless customers.
  • Identify and analyze offers and programs that enhance rate plan attractiveness, considering business objectives, market conditions, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product & Technology, Finance, and Marketing, to design and launch new or improved programs.
  • Work alongside the Strategic Planning team to create offer concepts for consumer research.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong business writing, negotiation, and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with go-to-market strategies and promotional launches.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks across various projects.
  • Business acumen to translate consumer insights into measurable business opportunities.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.

Work Experience:
4-7 years of marketing experience in sectors such as telecommunications, consumer electronics, or related fields, along with a year of analytical or technical experience in marketing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong presentation and communication skills, with a proven track record in defining and executing go-to-market strategies.

Travel Requirements:
Travel may be required for this position.

Compensation:
The base pay range for this role is between $84,200 and $151,900, with a corporate bonus target of 15%. Actual pay will depend on various factors, including qualifications and experience.
