Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Manage annual projects, including audits, insurance renewals, and the preparation of necessary financial filings.
  • Support the accounting of grants and restricted funds, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Administer payroll functions to guarantee timely and accurate compensation for staff.
  • Prepare quarterly budgets in collaboration with senior management to reflect organizational priorities.
  • Analyze financial statements and generate balance sheets to provide insights into the organization's financial health.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in nonprofit accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a relevant role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical proficiency and analytical skills.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with accounting software.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Experience with Quickbooks and Salesforce is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $103,231 - $127,520.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off and sick leave.
  • 403b retirement plan options with a 6% match after one year of service.
  • Flexible work environment, combining remote and in-office work.
