Job Description
As our Plant Operations Manager, you will oversee plant operations by managing scheduling, manpower, and machinery to meet customers' requirements. You will develop and control costs within budget, implement programs to achieve corporate safety goals, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Duties:
- Oversee activities related to making products or providing services.
- Review financial statements and production reports to measure productivity and goal achievement.
- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Direct and coordinate financial and budget activities to fund operations and maximize investments.
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, and procedures.
- Determine staffing requirements and interview, hire, and train new employees.
- 13-15 years of professional experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in a Plant Manager role.
- People/Team Development.
- Strong communications skills with internal associates and external vendors/customers.
- Ability to fast track knowledge and ideas.
