We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the nation. As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing high-quality care and support during one of the most significant moments in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care to patients and families in Labor and Delivery, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of employment.
- Associate's degree in Nursing or higher.
