Job Summary

The Walton Arts Center is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and Development. This role is pivotal in strengthening current sponsor relationships and building a robust corporate pipeline to identify new prospects and expand sponsorship revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a portfolio of corporate sponsors for the Walton Arts Center and the Walmart AMP
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with sponsors through excellent customer service and ongoing stewardship
  • Strategically plan and execute annual sponsorships, box seat sales, and special fundraising events
  • Lead the Corporate Leadership Council (CLC) in member solicitation and strategic planning
  • Engage corporate donors to sponsor signature fundraising events

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of demonstrated experience in sponsorship management, fundraising, or business development
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the corporate sponsorship market and the ability to create compelling proposals and packages
  • Relationship and customer service oriented with excellent follow-up skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Excellent leadership qualities and demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve and exceed goals
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage sponsor agreements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
