Job Overview

As a Property Leasing Consultant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for potential residents. Your positive demeanor will help address any concerns promptly, ensuring a pleasant experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement leasing and marketing strategies for the property.
  • Conduct property tours with prospective tenants and follow up diligently.
  • Facilitate the leasing and pre-leasing process for apartments.
  • Organize and execute retention initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Process applications and prepare lease or renewal agreements.
  • Assess property vacancies, maintain tour paths, and ensure model apartments are presentable.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures effectively.
  • Evaluate market trends and analyze occupancy rates to stay competitive.
  • Recommend and oversee marketing strategies, tracking their effectiveness.

Compensation:

  • $20-22 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and database management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales effectively.
  • Experience managing an internal applicant database is preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends.
  • Prior experience in leasing, sales, or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tax credit, Section 8, or 236 housing is a plus.
