Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain shipping schedules by coordinating loading of trucks, scheduling load times, balancing type of loads, making appointments, and controlling the flow of schedules.
  • Document items shipped and ships items by entering shipping data on the terminal, scanning license plates, recording, and identifying item and transport information.
  • Confirm shipping information by answering and relaying telephone, fax, and email inquiries.
  • Provide product information by responding to telephone, fax, and email inquiries.
  • Resolve shipping problems by researching product history on the database.
  • Determine the method of shipment by examining items to be shipped and time of shipment.
  • Maintain pallet account records by documenting incoming and outgoing pallets.
