Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Client Support Specialist to join our team at Truist. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will provide exceptional sales, service, and loan support to our Relationship Managers and Commercial Credit staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Relationship Managers with sales support, including pipeline accuracy, call preparation, and client contact strategy.
- Support the sales process and portfolio growth through recognition of referral opportunities and taking action on them.
- Provide superior client service to Commercial Community Bank clients, taking ownership of client needs, problems, and requests.
- Assist in general servicing of Commercial loans, deposits, and fee services, including account opening, reporting, and payment processing.
- Assist Relationship Managers with portfolio management, ensuring accurate client assignment and account data.
- Assist with general loan support, delivering accurate and timely information to internal loan areas and communicating with clients.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent education and related training.
- Five years of related experience, preferably within financial services.
- Two years of experience in a CCS role or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues independently.
- Advanced knowledge of related systems and processes.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients and contacts.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to complete all core courses outlined in the CCS training curriculum.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in a related field.
- Possess working product knowledge of bank services and Financial Services Industry.
- Possess math aptitude with ability to grasp general accounting and financial concepts.
- Possess working knowledge of Excel and/or reporting applications.
