Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Client Support Specialist to join our team at Truist. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will provide exceptional sales, service, and loan support to our Relationship Managers and Commercial Credit staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Relationship Managers with sales support, including pipeline accuracy, call preparation, and client contact strategy.
  • Support the sales process and portfolio growth through recognition of referral opportunities and taking action on them.
  • Provide superior client service to Commercial Community Bank clients, taking ownership of client needs, problems, and requests.
  • Assist in general servicing of Commercial loans, deposits, and fee services, including account opening, reporting, and payment processing.
  • Assist Relationship Managers with portfolio management, ensuring accurate client assignment and account data.
  • Assist with general loan support, delivering accurate and timely information to internal loan areas and communicating with clients.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education and related training.
  • Five years of related experience, preferably within financial services.
  • Two years of experience in a CCS role or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues independently.
  • Advanced knowledge of related systems and processes.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients and contacts.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to complete all core courses outlined in the CCS training curriculum.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in a related field.
  • Possess working product knowledge of bank services and Financial Services Industry.
  • Possess math aptitude with ability to grasp general accounting and financial concepts.
  • Possess working knowledge of Excel and/or reporting applications.
