About the Job

HL Contractors, Inc. is a leading commercial general contractor seeking a highly motivated Project Administrator to join our team. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, paid vacation and holidays, and medical insurance.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project documentation and requirements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and ensure timely execution of subcontracts.
  • Process subcontractor invoices and payments.
  • Review project submittals & shop drawings.
  • Track and update insurance certificates from subcontractors and for clients.
  • Receive, verify, and process timesheets, mileage reports, and expense reports.
  • File certificates, contracts, and invoices.
  • Prepare payment applications.
  • Subcontractor bid solicitation.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist with close-out activities for clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • 3+ years of administrative experience.
  • Strong time management/multitasking skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure, and perform in fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to 'do whatever it takes' to get the job done.
  • Ability to interface with personnel at all levels.
  • Excellent technical, organizational, transactional, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Construction Management Software.
