Job Summary:

Summa Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Women's Health Center team. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and leadership to our patients and healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide OBGYN outpatient care to patients in our Women's Health Clinic, including OB intakes, Gyn and OB acute and routine care, well women care, and minor procedures.
  • Participate in our Centering model for patients with substance use disorder.
  • Work in an outpatient setting, Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p, with no call or weekend responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and advance the quality of advanced practice through specialized direct patient care, leadership, consultation, education, and research.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program, MPAS preferred, and have passed the national certification examination administered by the National Commission of Certification of Physicians Assistants or Masters Degree in Nursing with completion of Advanced Practice program in area of expertise and National certification as CNP, CNM, or CNS.
  • Current license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse or physician assistant in the state of Ohio.
  • Minimum one year experience as advanced practice provider preferred.
  • BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Women's health experience.
  • Excellent skills in communication, organizing, self-motivation, accuracy, and time management.
  • Ability to read and interpret medical documents.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Salary:

$51.89/hr - $69.50/hr
