Ideal Candidate Profile

Behavioral Concepts is seeking a Senior Behavior Specialist (SBS) to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, evidence-based, modern ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism. The SBS role requires a strong foundation in behavior treatment, along with progress towards certification, licensure, and credentialing. In this position, you will implement treatment protocols utilizing best practices in ABA, working under the guidance of a behavior analyst. Your experience will allow for a high degree of independence and technical proficiency. Additionally, you will support behavior analysts in case supervision and protocol adjustments while accumulating hours toward certification and enhancing your skills for future advancement as a behavior analyst.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or currently enrolled in a Master's degree program
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligibility to sit for the BCBA exam within a year of completing your master's
  • Supervision hours in progress or completed as per BACB requirements
  • Certification, registration, and/or licensure as mandated by local laws for behavior treatment delivery

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver behavior treatment protocols to clients as required
  • Provide clinical guidance to technicians as necessary
  • Assist behavior analysts with protocol modifications, assessments, family treatment guidance, treatment planning, and clinical programming
  • Adhere to guidelines regarding time allocation for non-billable activities
  • Ensure accurate and reliable data collection and documentation
  • Complete mandatory training and participate in required meetings
  • Document services rendered accurately and promptly in accordance with company policies
  • Report any clinical or scheduling issues in a timely manner
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor
