Job Description:

A Traffic Control Laborer is responsible for assisting crews during road construction by directing traffic, ensuring safety, and maintaining traffic control devices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Flagging traffic with STOP/SLOW paddle or flag
  • Setting up and maintaining traffic control devices
  • Monitoring lane closures and traffic flow
  • Assisting with placement or removal of traffic cones and barricades
  • Providing directions to on-site dump truck operators

Experience in traffic control or Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) is a plus, but training will be provided. Candidates should be physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions. Shift differentials may apply based on schedule.
