About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to join our team at Cornerstone Barricades, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance of traffic team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic during road construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and participate in the work of a crew performing job site safety and traffic control operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and programs related to roadway construction and maintenance.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise all equipment and materials needed to set up, take down, maintain traffic control, and handle traffic-related situations.
  • Monitor operations and activities of the traffic maintenance work unit; recommend improvements and modifications and prepare various reports on operations and activities.
  • Interpret and advise staff on applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED and ability to read, write, and complete work reports.
  • Current valid FDOT MOT/ TTC Advanced Certification and State of Florida Advanced Training for Worksite Traffic Supervisor certification.
  • At least 4 to 5 years of experience as an MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) Foreman/Crew Leader in highway construction planning, organizing, and supervising all equipment and materials needed to set up, take down, maintain traffic control, and handle traffic-related situations.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.
  • Negative drug test and continued random drug testing as a condition of employment.
  • Acceptable criminal background check.
