Ambulatory Care Opportunities
The Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking an experienced General Internist to join our team of clinician educators. As a faculty member, you will provide comprehensive evidence-based care to a diverse patient population, teach and mentor internal medicine residents, and participate in clinical and educational research.
Job Responsibilities
- Clinical Work: Provide direct clinical care to ambulatory female patients, including routine check-ups, preventive care, and management of chronic conditions.
- Taching and Mentorship: Teach and mentor internal medicine residents, including supervision of housestaff in the resident outpatient practice and participation in inpatient care.
- Research Participation: Participate in clinical and educational research projects, including studies related to quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes measurement.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Direct experience managing complex inpatients
- Interest in teaching and growth in an academic setting
- Experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective communication
