Chief Purpose of this position: Weare seeking a Rheumatologist for a clinical faculty position within theDivision of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at Virginia CommonwealthUniversity.
Position Responsibilities:
Teaching | This position will be activelyinvolved in the education and training of the Rheumatology fellows.
- Provideteaching service to learners, including medical students, interns andresidents
- Usecontemporary adult learning methods to promote evidence-based practice
- Demonstrateeffective teaching skills and continually develop as a teacher for learners atall levels
- Completerequired evaluations of learners in a timely manner - including but not limitedto written and verbal feedback
- Participatein other learning activities such as foundations of clinical medicine, morningreport, core conference, and other formal educational programs forundergraduate and post-graduate learners
Required Qualifications:
- Board certified inRheumatology and in Internal Medicine
- Demonstratedboth scholarly and clinical abilities through patient care, teaching andclinical research
