Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our team at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. As a CT Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing CT scans, providing high-quality images, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT exams following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Take patient history and retrieve relevant orders or prior images.
  • Provide patient education and answer questions regarding the exam.
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely completion of exams.
  • Support ALARA principles and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Interact with physicians, patients, and family members in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Start IVs for contrast administration and use power injectors as needed.
  • Contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations.
  • Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the position.
  • Perform daily upkeep of departmental work areas, including cleaning and stocking.
  • Adhere to customer service initiatives and promote a positive work environment.
  • Support quality and performance improvement initiatives and meet quarterly targeted metrics.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Current ARRT certification with advanced registry or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
  • 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
