Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans, adhering to established protocols and ensuring timely completion of exams.
  • Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies and take patient history, retrieving any required orders or prior images.
  • Provide patient history and symptoms relevant to the exam to the radiologist and complete documentation accurately.
  • Coordinate patient flow, checking the daily list to ensure all exams are completed.
  • Support ALARA principles and inform patients about procedures, answering their questions.
  • Interact and communicate professionally with physicians, patients, and family members.
  • Start IVs for contrast administration and use the power injector.
  • Contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations and maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the role.
  • Handle daily upkeep of departmental work areas and promote customer service initiatives by adhering to the ICARE values.
  • Support and participate in quality and performance improvement plans, complying with quarterly targeted metrics.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages served.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Current ARRT certification with advanced registry, or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
  • 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
