Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT exams following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Take patient history and retrieve relevant orders or prior images.
  • Provide accurate and detailed documentation of patient information and exam results.
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely completion of exams.
  • Support ALARA principles and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Start IVs for contrast administration and use power injectors as needed.
  • Contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations.
  • Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the role.
  • Perform daily upkeep of departmental work areas and promote a clean and organized environment.
  • Support customer service initiatives and adhere to ICARE values.
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement plans and meet quarterly targeted metrics.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Current ARRT certification with advanced registry or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
  • 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
