Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT scans, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the highest level of image quality. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT exams following established protocols and procedures
  • Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies
  • Take patient history and retrieve relevant orders or prior images
  • Provide patient education and answer questions
  • Interact with physicians, patients, and family members in a professional and courteous manner
  • Start IVs for contrast administration and use power injectors
  • Contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations
  • Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the role
  • Perform daily upkeep of departmental work areas
  • Support customer service initiatives and promote the ICARE values
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement plans
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Current ARRT certification with advanced registry or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire
  • 1 year post-graduate experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
