We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Advocate to join our team at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $120,000 per year. As a Patient Care Advocate, you will provide safe and therapeutic care to patients in a holistic and systematic way, incorporating individual needs into the provision of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive psychosocial/physiologic assessments to identify patient needs.
  • Develop and implement plans of care based on trends of similar patients, including patient education and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to identify realistic desired outcomes and ensure efficient delivery of care.
  • Actively advocate for patient rights and identify potential conflicts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nursing practice, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • A current Louisiana State license as an RN and BLS certification.
  • Proficient in the English language, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills.
